The NinjaTrader Chandelier Stop indicator was developed by Charles Le Beau and introduced by Alexander Elder as a stop-loss strategy. This version of Chandelier Stop not only implements the traditional stop method, but also adds a smoothing option that we believe significantly improves upon the original ideas presented by Mr. Elder.
The Chandelier Stop indicator is built on our Moving Average Framework, which allows users to easily run the indicator on multiple time frames (MTF), including custom bar types.
